The Phusion Parent Support & Encouragement Network (PSEN) is an organization designed to support the mission and vision of Phusion Performing Arts Alliance. PSEN organizes and oversees the volunteer opportunities within Phusion.
The mission of PSEN is:
- To encourage parent interest in the center and its activities.
- To promote the general welfare of Phusion Performing Arts Alliance and its students.
- To support the dance, academic and specialty programs.
- To provide support and resources to Phusion.
- To support both the financial growth and creative development of the administrative staff and faculty.
- To promote and help develop a cooperative working relationship between the parents, staff and faculty of Phusion.
- To develop parent leadership and build capacity for greater involvement.
- To foster and encourage parent participation on all levels.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENT:
Each family is REQUIRED to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours during the 2011-2012 School Term. We have several opportunities and areas where parents can share their talents. All volunteer efforts will be coordinated by the PSEN chair and parents are required to sign up for activities and honor their commitment.
Parental commitment and support is the key to any program working with children. Phusion is dedicated to providing quality training, experienced instructors and dynamic, fun-filled and action packed Productions. In order to continue this legacy, we need the continued support of our parents.
OPT OUT - If a family does not want to participate in the "PSEN Volunteer Program", the Business Office must receive written notification of this decision within 5 days of your registration. If notification is NOT received, a $50 opt-out fee will be automatically added to your account and will be processed with the next month tuition payment. In addition, if a family fails to complete the mandatory hours by the end of the school term, the OPT-OUT policy automatically goes into affect. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
